Jeanne M. Lippert

Since 2022, Jeanne Lippert has been working to assist the firm with its criminal defense practice. 

She is a trial lawyer with a long history of success in criminal jury trials.  She has more than thirty (30) years experience in criminal work. 

All of her experience in the criminal arena has been deployed in northern Ohio counties. 

My Story

In 2022, Jeanne Lippert originally joined the firm as a criminal defense lawyer.  Ms. Lippert practices across Northern Ohio as a relentless advocate defending the rights of the accused. 

Experience.

Ms. Lippert has practicing criminal law in Ohio since 1992. 

 

In 2022, she joined the Ohio Legal Group as it was then known as the Bailey Legal Group. 

From 2000 to 2020, Ms. Lippert was the Assistant Erie County Prosecutor.  She handled all types of criminal defense matters including traffic court, children services, misdemeanors and felonies.  She handled all the forfeiture work for the office, and in 2018, she became chief of the criminal division.  She supervised twelve (12) attorneys and prosecutor major felony offenses earning extensive trial experience.

From 1997 to 2000, Ms. Lippert was employed as an Assistant Public Defender at the Erie County Public Defender's Office.  Whereat she handled legal aid cases and public defender cases, meaning she worked doing divorces, traffic cases, major felony cases, and children services cases.

From 1992 to 1997, Ms. Lippert was employed by Bradley & Giardini in Lorain County, Ohio handling civil, domestic and criminal cases.  She was also a contract attorney for the Lorain County Bar Association, and she served as a Guardian ad Litem. 

Education.

Ms. Lippert graduated from Capital Law School with her Juris Doctorate.  Prior to which, she obtained her Undergraduate degrees a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Notre Dame College of Ohio.
