Elizabeth Osorio Jones

Elizabeth Jones is an experienced criminal defense lawyer with a lengthy history of trials, dismissals, and not guilty verdicts.

With more than a decade of experience in the criminal defense world, she's quickly become the woman to see for private criminal defense in the Delaware and Franklin counties.

My Story

Elizabeth Emelia Osorio Jones graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors Degree in Anthropology and Spanish.  She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Akron School of Law.

As a law student, Elizabeth worked in the University of Akron School of Law’s Appellate Review Office, Trial Litigation Office, and Inmate Assistance Program.  At which time, Elizabeth drafted and filed a misdemeanor brief-in-chief and reply brief to the Ninth Appellate District that resulted in a reversal of the trial conviction.

Elizabeth is licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio; she is a member of the Delaware County Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Elizabeth Osorio has lived in Northeast Ohio, Illinois, Minnesota, and she spent her formative childhood years in Mexico.

Elizabeth is an experienced international traveler and has enjoyed extended trips abroad, but she is happiest right here in central Ohio. Elizabeth is fluent in Spanish.

Elizabeth brings a unique multicultural and multilingual understanding to The Law Office of Brian Jones, LLC, and she is dedicated to facilitating communication and comprehension of the legal process for her Spanish-speaking and English-speaking clients alike.  Elizabeth provides clients with her mobile number and returns calls promptly – usually within 24 hours.

As an associate attorney at the Law Office of Brian Jones, LLC, Elizabeth supports Zach Mayo in all criminal and juvenile cases.  Elizabeth handles her own criminal cases as well as taking the lead in all criminal appeals cases.  Elizabeth’s background in Forensic Science and Physical Anthropology make her well-suited for investigating complex issues involving physical evidence and drug evidence.
